| Waikiki Grand Hotel is located across the street
from the 500 acres Kapiolani park - home of the Honolulu Zoo,
Waikiki Aquarium & Waikiki Shell. Kapiolani park is also
well known for its broad green lawns, public tennis courts and
jogging tracks. Waikiki Grand is a leasehold property consisting
of individually owned units either managed as part of the Marc
Resorts Hawaii hotel pool or owner occupied. Amenities include
swimming pool, a laundry room on each floor, top floor sundeck,
ground level fast-food restaurant (Jack-in-a-Box) and a barber/beauty
shop. The building was completed in 1978. Jefferson Elementary
School is within easy walking distance. Intermediate school is
Washington and high school is McKinley. Affordably priced yet only half a block from Waikiki Beach, the location is hard to match. Units facing the park have an excellent view of Diamond Head and surrounding greenery. However, Kapahulu Ave. is a busy artery frequented by tour buses. Expect some street noises. This property is also starting to show its age. |
