| Waikiki Banyan consists of two - 38 story towers
located about one block from the beach. The recreation deck is
complete with swimming pool, private tennis court, sauna, barbecue
area, children's playground and a snack bar. There are laundry
facilities on each floor and a convenience store located in Tower
#1 on the main floor. Completed in 1979 with a 55 years lease
term, the hotel portion is managed by Aston. 330 units of the
877 one bedroom suites which make up the Aston hotel pool were
renovated in 1987. Around the corner is Jefferson elementary
school, intermediate is Washington and high school is McKinley.
Pets require condo association approval. Very popular especially among Canadian long stay visitors with small children because of its proximity to Waikiki beach, Kapiolani park, Honolulu zoo, Ala Wai canal. The Bus stop is directly adjacent to the property. Shopping and restaurants are nearby. Tennis court needs resurfacing. |
