Queen Emma Gardens consists of 3 buildings constructed in 1963 on an 8.282 acres property. The project was originally conceived as rental units to benefit the Hawaii Community Foundation. Two buildings, King and Queen Towers, were recently purchased by the Queen Emma Gardens Development Co. for condominium conversion. The developer is now selling “as is” one bedroom/one bath and two bedrooms/one bath units on a fee simple basis with one parking stall. Both King and Queen Towers have 176 units each. Prince Tower continues as rental apartments. Schools are Royal Elementary, Central Intermediate and McKinley High.

Amenities are nice consisting of a swimming pool, wading pool, 2 beautiful Japanese Tea Houses and Koi pond (available for parties), landscaped garden and grounds. On the negative side, location is next to a busy freeway and the noise level is very high.
