PROGRAM: Novice class are for children who have never
been sailing or have little knowledge of the sport. Students
will learn rigging, basic sailing and boat safety. Intermediate
Sailing is for continuing sailors who feel comfortable in a small
boat. More advance skills will be taught & some racing techniques
will be used.

PROGRAM: As part of its education mandate, the Waikiki
Aquarium offers marine oriented programs designed for families
and adults. Examples include night reef walks, day reef walks,
visiting the Waikiki Aquarium after dark, a murder mystery, director's
overnight and Hawaiian fossil hunt. Also offered are travel opportunities
to the Solomon Islands and Midway accompanied by a marine scientist.

PROGRAM: Computer Safari is dedicated to bringing the
best computer training to the people of Hawaii. Children learn
everything from computer basics to digital photography to graphic
arts. Ages 11 years and up can even learn to build their own
computers. Students to teacher ratio is 6 to 1 with one computer
assigned to each student.

PROGRAM: Hawaii-SSTP is a highly intensive summer program
teaching math, physics and other science related subjects to
gifted and motivated high school students. It originally was
under the auspices of the National Science Foundation but now
operates under special appropriations from the Hawaii State Legislature.
Approximately 30 students are invited to attend each year.
