PROGRAM: Concept is to learn English while enjoying a vacation in Hawaii. English classes are Monday through Friday mornings for 3 hours each day. PROGRAM: Big Island Homestay School is an English language, intensive adventure program located on the Island of Hawaii. It is a "teacher homestay camp" experience. You improve your English by living with your teachers. PROGRAM: George House Academy is a private English language school located in downtown Honolulu. It was established in 1996 to provide several different programs for learners of English as a Second Language. PROGRAM: ICC is a private language school located in a modern building close to Ala Moana Shopping Center. There are eight large, air conditioned classrooms all having new furnishings, tables, white boards, etc. In addition, ICC has a listening lab, a video room and a multimedia fully networked computer center. PROGRAM: Non-native English speakers who are admitted to the University of Hawaii are screened by the English Language Institute. Those judged to be in need of further specialized training first attend the English Language Institute to raise their level of English competency.
