PROGRAM: Hawaii Pacific University is an independent,
coeducational, career-oriented university. HPU offers undergraduate
degrees in 34 fields of study plus graduate programs including
the largest MBA program in the state of Hawaii. Other graduate
level programs include a Master of Science in Information Systems,
Master of Arts degrees in Management, Human Resource Management
and Organization Change. HPU has two campuses. The main campus
is located in downtown, Honolulu and the other, Hawaii Loa, on
the windward side of Oahu.

PROGRAM: Chaminade University of Honolulu is a private,
coeducational university established in 1955 by the Society of
Mary (Marianists), a Catholic order dedicated to the education
of leaders. Its major strength lie in a talented faculty. Classes
are kept small allowing for greater interaction between the teaching
staff and students. Faculty members likewise provide a significant
amount for individuals. Average students to teacher class ratio
is 16 to 1. About 12% of the students are from overseas countries.

PROGRAM: BYU-Hawaii Campus is a four-year, liberal arts
institution located on the northeastern corner of Oahu about
37 miles from Honolulu. It has a multiracial student body of
2,000 with about 40% coming from the South Pacific and Asian
Rim. The school is organized into seven academic divisions. Although
there are no religious requirements for admission, all students
and faculty are expected to follow the dress, grooming, and moral
standards of this church owned school. BYU was founded and is
operated by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (the
Mormons).

PROGRAM: Hawaii Tokai International College is an accredited
American college with an international focus. It has two basic
programs: (1) a two-year liberal arts program leading to an Associate
in Arts degree, after which students can transfer to 4-year universities
in Hawaii and on the mainland USA, and (2) a program concentrating
on the learning of English after which students can transfer
to the Associate in Arts degree program or use their language
skills to seek employment in fields such as international business
or the travel visitor industry.

PROGRAM: Formerly known as Kansai Gaidai Hawaii College,
TransPacific Hawaii College is a nonprofit, private 2 year college
located in a residential community. THC is dedicated to fostering
the development of a global student. THC offers both an English
as a Second Language program and an Associate in Arts Degree
program with emphasis on transfering to a 4 year college. The
student body are mostly Asians, the majority of whom come from
Japan.

PROGRAM: The University of Phoenix - Hawaii Campus offers

PROGRAM: UH-Manoa is the flagship of a 10 campus system
which makes up the University of Hawaii. Their mission is to
provide quality education, create knowledge through research
and pursue scholarly study. UH-Manoa is considered a research
university of international standing. Approximately 18,000 students
are enrolled in both undergraduate and graduate programs.

PROGRAM: The University of Hawaii at Hilo is limited to
undergraduate programs. UH-Hilo campus has a four year College
of Arts and Sciences, a four year College of Agriculture, and
an expanding College of Continuing Education and Community Service.
About 2,900 students are enrolled. UH-Hilo also has center located
in Kealakekua, West Hawaii (Big Island).

PROGRAM: The University of Hawaii - West Oahu campus confers
the Bachelor of Arts degree in three areas of concentration:
Humanities, Social Sciences and Professional Studies. West Oahu
campus is a 2 year, upper level program drawing students who

PROGRAM: Kapiolani is one of seven two-year community
colleges which make up the University of Hawaii system. KCC is
located on a scenic 44-acre site near historic Diamond Head Crater.
KCC offers both occupational programs and a liberal arts program
in which students may undertake course work leading towards completion
of a four year baccalaureate degree at Manoa or another campus.

as a career and technical training center. Faculty come from

PROGRAM: Leeward Community College offers two years of
college study leading toward such university majors as Business,
Medicine, Education, Engineering, Environmental Studies, and
Human Services. After completing the 2 year program students
can transfer to a 4 year campus. In addition, technical programs
in Computer Science, Television Production, Food Service, Drafting
Automotive Technology, and Commercial Music prepare students
for employment.

PROGRAM: Windward Community College offers a variety of
liberal arts disciplines as well as vocational education programs.
WCC's Agricultural Technology program includes a unique year-long
curriculum in turf grass and landscape management. It is only
one of three such programs offered by community colleges in the
USA. The college owns an on-campus three-hole golf course.

PROGRAM: While located within the University of Hawaii
Manoa Campus, the East-West Center is a separate institute directly
funded through the Department of State by the U.S. Congress.
Focus is to foster goodwill, mutual understanding and cooperation
between Asia, the Pacific and the United States. This is achieved
by bringing together scholars, government leaders, businessmen,
educators, journalists and other professionals from throughout
the region to the East-West Center.
